It's been a while!!

Took this photo today and liked it so I thought I would share on here.

Hmmm don't know if it looks as good on here as it does on my big screen. Oh well, I like it :)

This is actually from Christmas day and it was one of the few that actually turned out in focus -- turns out that I had the camera set on MANUAL focus, which of course I didn't know!!!! Bugger!

ISO - 100, Focal length 12mm, F-Number F/4 Lens Aperture F/4 shutter speed 1/350sec

I just thought I would include these well, because I can....lol...AND they are from my first ever official photo shoot {and last with Brodie for a long while} since I got my tripod for my birthday.

I LOVE MACRO!!!

I don't know what it is about Macro that I love so much? I think it is the amount of detail you can get when you use it....

Here's a couple I took today while mucking around outside.

camera settings :
shutter speed -- 1/340 sec.
ISO speed -- 100
focal length -- 17mm
F-number -- F/3.1

OK one day I am going to know EXACTLY what that all means. I know the ISO and the shutter speed oh and the focal length as they are all pretty self explanatory, but the F-number?? lol.....I can feel a camera course coming on!!


This photo has 2 purposes. One I love MACRO and two is to prove to Mum that the Capsicums are still alive!!

camera settings :

ISO speed -- 100
focal length -- 6mm
F-number -- F/2.8


So there you have it. My choice of photos to share with you today....

Joining the trend!!

OK so I am like a little sheep happily following along......who cares I say!!

I have started this blog as a place where I can add photos on a daily, weekly, monthly...whenever basis! Ones I love, ones I hate maybe too, you never know.

So, welcome and I hope you get some enjoyment out of the photos I take! Goodness knows I love taking them. I am also going to use this as a place where I can see how my skills are improving *hopefully*.....and a place to one day load up my REBEL photos!!! (I am a big dreamer!!!)
